Buehler Challenger & Science Center
The Buehler Challenger & Science Center was created in 1994 by the Emil Buehler Trust as the 21st center in the Challenger Learning Center network. The Buehler Center is dedicated to inspiring students, educators, and the community in the pursuit of scientific education.

The Hermitage
The Hermitage, a National Historic Landmark, is located on 4.9 acres of lawn shaded by centuries-old trees. The site is on both the State and National Registers of Historic Places. The 14 room Gothic Revival home was built in 1847-48 from designs by William H. Ranlett for Elijah Rosencrantz Jr. The house incorporates portions of a historic 18th-century house.
